How it's built

Started at 1,000. Stablecoins and gold tokens excluded. Members are the ten largest coins at each update, and the divisor adjusts when they change so the line stays continuous.

Countdown

Bitcoin halving

Every 210,000 blocks, the reward for mining new Bitcoin is cut in half.

How it's estimated

Bitcoin aims for one block every 10 minutes, so the date is the remaining blocks × 10 minutes. Real block times vary, so the estimate drifts by days.

Today's crypto prices by market cap

What if calculator

What price would a coin have with another coin's market cap?

Coin A trades at $2.00 with 5 billion coins, a $10 billion market cap. At coin B's $100 billion market cap, the same supply would put it at $20.00, ten times today.
Give coin A coin B's $100 billion market cap and divide by A's own 5 billion coins to get $20.00 a coin, ten times today. Same supply, bigger value. Free to reuse

What this means

This divides the other coin's market cap by the first coin's circulating supply.

It's a way to compare size, not a prediction.

How it's calculated

Price = other coin's market cap ÷ this coin's circulating supply

How to use it

  1. Choose the coin you're curious about.
  2. Choose the coin whose market cap you want to borrow.
  3. Read the price the first coin would have at that size.

Worked example

If a coin has 10 billion coins and Ethereum's market cap is $270 billion, that coin at Ethereum's size would trade at $27. If it's $2 today, that's a 13.5× move.

Reading the result

The result is the price your first coin would trade at if its market cap matched the second coin's, with today's supply. The multiple beside it shows the percentage move that would take. This is the quickest way to put two very different prices on the same scale, because a $0.50 coin isn't cheap and a $500 coin isn't expensive until you know how many coins exist.

Mistakes to avoid

Common questions

Why use circulating supply?

It's what market cap is built on. Using max supply would compare a different number.

Does it say whether that's likely?

No. It shows the size gap, not the odds of closing it.
